Lorecache Labs is a tiny studio (mostly one very stubborn human, David, plus an unreasonable number of AI experiments) building tools for people who like to own their workflows.

Under the Candy Dungeon banner we’re exploring how far local-first AI can go for:

• long-form storytelling
• memory-heavy worlds and campaigns
• creators who like to tinker under the hood

Current projects

🎧 Candy Dungeon Music Forge (CDMF)

Our first “real” product: a local AI music workstation built on ACE-Step.

• Text-to-music for games, campaigns, writing sessions, or just for fun
• LoRA training UI so you can teach the model your own vibes
• Built-in browser for generated tracks, tagging & presets
• Stem separation to rebalance vocals vs. instrumentals
• Completely local: runs on your own Windows machine + NVIDIA GPU

CDMF is in early access, but fully usable today. If you like weird, powerful tools that live on your own hardware, this one’s for you.

🐉 Candy Dungeon (in development)

Candy Dungeon itself is a story-driven RPG / roleplay workstation:

• side-by-side AI “GM” + summarizer
• persistent characters, locations, and factions
• tools for keeping long-running campaigns coherent instead of melting into random soup

Think of it as a campaign notebook, narrative engine, and AI GM that all share the same brain.

🧠 ODIN – Open Data-Indexed Narrative (in development)

Behind the scenes we’re building ODIN, a higher-level mnemonic and retrieval layer:

• embeds and organizes story chunks, notes, docs, and code
• serves relevant “memory bundles” to client apps like Candy Dungeon
• is designed more like a creative workstation / IDE for narrative data than a traditional database

The long-term goal is to make ODIN a general-purpose memory back-end that other tools (not just ours) can talk to.

Philosophy

• Local-first whenever possible. Your models, your data, your GPU.
• Tools, not black boxes. We’d rather ship something a bit weird but inspectable than a glossy mystery.
• Designed for tinkerers. If you enjoy sliders, presets, configs, and “what happens if I push this,” you’re our people.
